Fort Mahipalgad

Location: Chandgad Taluka.

Height: 982 meters above from sea level.

Brief History: This fort was developed by ordered of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj. The most distinct feature of this fort is the vision range in all the four direction. The use of this fort was for army movement at ancient time. No more history found of this Fort.

Fort Mahipalgad is situated at Dist. Chandgad. It’s 87.6 km distance from its District Main City Kolhapur.
