Brief History: Mentioned in Sabhasad Bakhar, Kalanidhigad is built by Chh. Shivaji Maharaj. Fort Kalanidhigad was build to keep watch on Herekar Sawant-Bhosale and Tambulwadikar Sawant, who was enemy of Maratha emperor.
